Here is something I have been stitching up the past two days!!
One of the things I treasure in life is being able to sew my own clothes. It’s absolutely wonderful to design and create something that is exactly the way I want it. I love to let my creative juices flow and put pencil to paper and carve out designs that are both modest and feminine. My favorite past-time at the moment is seeking inspiration in the myriad colours, patterns and textures in London’s east end fabric shops.
This gorgeous blue and black abaya is my latest creation. The embellished waist-line of black rope and beading and an elasticated sleeve end gives a unique yet modest look.
